About Me
MY NAME IS TY
My father insisted I work with my mind and not my hands. I realize now, as a father to many children and a boss to many employees, that Dad had intended to nudge me into work that was fulfilling and meaningful. He didn't realize that in following his footsteps into the painting industry, I have found that the two are not mutually exclusive.
A skilled tradesperson ought to be proud to produce work with their hands and find ways to engage their intellect in even the most basic tasks. I look at projects like a scientist and consider my team as an intricate clockwork of people serving other people with the goal of producing good work at a fair price. Like an engineer, I am proud to harness the capabilities of a complex system of people, technology and good old-fashioned sweat and see the machine hum to life.
We raise our families on this, and as a consequence have been blessed to serve the community for more than 30 years.
